TITLE: Staff QA Engineer
LOCATION: USA - Appleton, WI
DURATION: 6months

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

1.      Minimum BS/BE or equivalent with familiarity  in developing automated tests, system test and QA of complex systems especially in the Host Storage Software and/or SAN/NAS storage systems industry.

2.      Familiarity with the system test and QA portion of the development. Storage Systems, SAN/NAS experience is a huge plus. Specific skills are as follows:

3.      writing detailed test plans for performance and scalability of storage systems.

4.      working with embedded SW systems and working knowledge of SW development life-cycle.

5.      providing and aiding debug support to narrow down problems.

6.      Experience in scripting languages such as TCL, Expect, Python, Perl and Shell scripting.

7.      Experience in developing and enhancing automated test harnesses.

8.      Strong technical communication skills, written and oral, targeted at a wide variety of internal and external audiences.

9.      Expected: independence, drive, motivation, willingness to go above and beyond, flexibility and cooperative spirit
