Software Quality Assurance Lead: SAP; QTP
FAIRFIELD, California
We are seeking Software Quality Assurance Lead to drive from a QA perspective several key initiatives within the companyfs application landscape retooling.
Experience with testing SAP systems, testing integrated web properties with SAP and legacy systems, as well as web service projects is desired.
This SQA Lead will work with the QA Manager and QA Vendor to drive the key projects to completion. In addition, he/she will help maintain and drive new processes, and tools to benefit the QA organization. The QA Lead must have considerable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate a high degree of product ownership and accountability from a QA perspective.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain QA related documentation such as general test plans, performance test plans, process policies and QA guidelines company-wide.
Lead QA Vendor efforts located onshore and offshore.
Drive innovation and automation of testing processes by making use of scripting tools.
Lead the effort to move toward a test-driven software development environment.
Write test strategies and review test plans.
Create use cases early in the architecture and design process.
Conduct White Box and Black Box testing.
Identify, manage and communicate risks defined by QA to management.
Collaborate with management stakeholders to continuously improve software development process quality.
Qualifications:
5+ years recent practical hands-on experience as a QA analyst or QA Lead/Manager
Experience working and leading offshore QA teams across multiple timezones
Ability to calmly, efficiently and effectively manage the QA process under deadline.
Experience on a number of projects in all stages of the development life cycle.
Diplomacy to cooperate with multiple business and technology stakeholders to deliver a high-quality outcome.
Experience with data-driven, loosely-coupled architectural approach.
Creative yet efficient problem-solving ability.
Testing software experience (SAP Tools and QTP preferred).
Ticketing/Tracking System experience (Jira, Bugzilla)
Expertise in cross-browser testing (IE, Firefox, Safari), web usability, and interface design.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
Self motivated, high energy, and results oriented.
Experience on testing large scale SAP implementations is highly desirable.
Experience working with globally dispersed development teams and third party integrators.
BA/BS in computer science, business, or technology-related field (or commensurate experience).
