Senior Java Developer

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

Required skills

· Seeking an experienced software/systems engineer/developer with proven success very good experience in designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented, multi-tiered systems using Java/J2EE and other development platforms

· Responsible to Support the development and operations of Java-based applications and components as part of a large enterprise system with domestic and international users.

· Candidate should have 5 plus years of object oriented software development experience using multiple languages, including 3 plus years of Java/J2EE technology experience including spring framework.

· A bachelor’s degree in a computer science or Information Technology is required.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with .NET technology or C# is a plus. Other

· Database modeling and development in Oracle platform, systems integration, and the use of XML technologies.

· Excellent communications and writing skills.

A master's degree is preferred
