Java Developer with Core Java, Oracle/Sybase, Spring and Financial exp at New York PLEASE SEND MATCHING RESUMES TO shailesh@swarkysolutions.com OR shailesh.recruiter@gmail.com Java Developer New York 9 months+ Description: As an Application Developer, you will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. You will participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. You will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules. You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to predefined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; review and provide feedback to the final user documentation; and train junior members of the team. Required Skills: Strong software and business systems design, analysis, and development skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Experience in developing and/or supporting 24/7 mission critical applications 5-7 years of IT work experience (financial industry preferred but will consider a strong candidate from other industries) Should be ready to participate in a team development and support of various components of large-scale applications Strong demonstrated knowledge of core Java (will consider C++) and Oracle/Sybase Spring, hibernate, OO design, Multithreading and messaging Familiarity with distributed computing infrastructures, UNIX Shell programming, Perl, XML, finance, risk management, derivatives, and/or other financial instruments a plus Thanks & Regards Shailesh Swarky Solutions, MN shailesh@swarkysolutions.com ©2013 Swarky Solutions | Plymouth, MN 55446
