Role: Finance Technology Business Consultant Duration : 6+ Months Assignment Capsule
· Lead and manage teams in the execution and implementation of high-quality IT solutions and projects that have measurable impacts to the business by facilitating the exploration, development, execution and implementation of key business requirements for various applications/systems. · Act as a liaison between Customer business areas, project teams and Customer IT by documenting solutions to business needs through software development life cycle. · Ensure project implementation adheres to internal and external compliance requirements. · Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, business owners and stakeholders throughout the company. · Work on complex problems where analysis of the situation or data requires an evaluation of multiple factors to achieve best results. · Create effective test strategy plans, test cases and execute testing for the project success by leading and performing user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect testing and stress testing, working with internal and external IT developers as well as business stakeholders to ensure testing results match expected scope and functionality. · Review and analyze results, assisting project teams, business areas and IT developers with issue resolution to provide final decision making in the readiness of product installations. · Create detailed project documents, metrics, and reporting to measure project successes. · Prepare and present findings and proposals to management, with recommendations, including cost benefit analysis, risk mitigation, and action plans. Qualifications Role Essentials · Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or Management Information System or related experience. · Demonstrated experience in Oracle EBS, OBIEE or other ERP systems. · Prior experience in project management or process improvement assignments · Ability to create and deliver effective presentations, documentation, training and project reporting. · Proven ability to lead, facilitate, prioritize, negotiate, problem solve, and inspire project team members. · Proven ability to provide innovative solutions to complex business processes and reporting. · Prior experience in software development life cycle methodology and phases of testing. · Outstanding oral, written and organizational skills and excels in a team environment. · Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and/or other software development related applications
· Master’s Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field · Prior experience in health insurance background · Prior experience in Oracle Hyperion product lines · Skills in using advanced features of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access; SQL query language; Oracle BI Tools; and other similar technology tools · Conceptual understanding of table-driven applications and browser-based applications (i.e. how they work and process/store data |
