Requirement:

Title: Senior MS SQL DBA

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration : 3 Months + Possible extension

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

PRIMARY SKILLS:

 

• 8-10 plus years of experience in overall administration of MSSQL Server on 2005/2008

• Experience in installation and up gradation of SQL Server 2005/2008/2008 R2 standalone and cluster Instance

• Experience in installation and up gradation of SSIS/SSRS and SSAS

• Configuration and troubleshooting SQL Server Log Shipping

• Configuration and troubleshooting SQL Server Replication Snapshot Replication and Transactional Replication

• Experience in Configuring Cluster technology and should have experience on resource failover options

• Experience in database creation

• Monitoring Cluster resource

• Experience in Database backup and recovery

• Good in database monitoring and hand on experience in running performance tuning tools Such as performance monitor, profiler

• Experience in performing import and export of data using BCP and third party tools

• Experience in Database clones/object refresh

• Applying service packs on cluster instance

• Knowledge on SSIS,SSRS and SSAS

• In-depth Experience on Database Performance analysis Memory/Disk/Processor/Network Bottleneck Analysis, Creating a Baseline, Configure Trace Automation, Analyzing a Query Execution Plan, Database Engine Tuning Advisor

• Backup Performance issues Desired:

• A good knowledge of the operating system of Windows 2003/2008

• Experience in Managing and configuring MSSQL Server 2005/2008 Standalone Instance and Cluster
