Requirement:

Job Role : Sr. Data Architect (Senior data warehouse guy with data modeling experience and strong SSIS/SSRS experience)

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: Long term

Required Skills/Experience

Experience with data modeling and entity relationship diagramming. Ability to create a physical data model from information contained in the logical diagram. Experience with data modeling tools, for example CA-Erwin v7.3.8 or Quest – Toad for SQL Server v5.0.x (state standards) or other comparable data modeling and reverse engineering utilities.

Ÿ Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008 because this is the current standard development toolset:

o Experience with data modeling

o Experience using Transact SQL language

o Experience with Analysis Services and Data Cubes

o Experience installing SQL Server software, with emphasis on upgrading existing installations from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008.

Job Description:

o Responsible for studying the business process models using the following resources: Database Layouts, Data Dictionary, "As Is" application screens and "To Be" business process diagrams and DSS MITA self–assessment that have been developed by the business and technical participants for the information technology architecture and for the ADP document.

o Responsible to develop an integrated, self-consistent logical data model for the end-to-end Waiver Case Mgmt system.

o Responsible to develop required metadata in the Data Dictionary.

o Responsible to develop a roadmap towards the Information Architecture (aligning with the CMS MITA and state self-assessment).

o Responsible to develop business intelligence/data reporting capabilities in alignment with agency key performance management objectives.

o Responsible to develop data integration and conversion strategies supporting the implementation of the HCBS Waiver Case Mgmt system.
