Java Developer

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: Long Term

 

Basic Functions:

-Participates in the evaluation of client area application systems/programming requirements and processes(new enhances or maintenance), in the preparation of efficient system specifications

-Participates in the development , testing and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions

 

Characteristics Duties and Responsibilities:

-Designs, develops, tests, implements and supports solutions and enhances for systems and processes

-Creates and maintains documentation to support the full Application Development Lifecycle

-Reviews team work products for quality and adheres to standards

-Mentors others in expertise including current technologies, systems, business practices, and standards

 

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work exp.

-extensive experience working with SPRING framwork

-4 yrs. exp. in the IT industry working in the area of system analysis and application development

-Working knowledge with atleast one major Java EE bases application Server

-Proficiency with Java EE technologies: Java Serverlets, JSP, EJB 3.0, JDBC, XML, HTML/Javascript and Struts

-working knowledge of Dervice Oriented Architecture and Web Services
