Job Title : MDM Data Architect/developer with SAP

Location : New York, NY (Water Street)

Duration : 3+months

2 years+ as a lead data architect SAP technology: ie: SAP BW, BPC, EC Informatica or datastage

Interview mode: phone and f2f (local candidates strongly preferred)

•Assist with establishing standards and best practices for, and apply data management technologies towards a comprehensive data architecture solution for global finance including Master Data Management, Data Integration and Virtualization, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Business Intelligence.

• Assist with the development of a comprehensive data architecture solution integrating both SAP and Open Systems approaches, processes and technologies

• Participate with business and technology partners providing sound short-term solutions while adhering and driving towards strategic solutions.

• Work with Global Finance Enterprise Architecture team integrating data architecture strategy and solutions into the overall global finance enterprise architecture.

• Participate in architecture reviews providing guidance and recommendations for data architecture.

• Review data management deliverables throughout the development life cycle ensuring quality, traceability to architecture requirements, and adherence to data architecture standards and guidelines.

Job Experience

• 5 years’ experience with related data management disciplines and technologies including master data management (MDM), Reference Data Management, Metadata management, data quality, data integration, data warehousing.

• Experience designing / implementing MDM solutions, preferably with IBM’s InfoSphere Master Data Management Server

• 2+ years’ experience in data architect leadership role

• Experience providing data architecture support for Corporate Financial solutions, e.g. Corporate Consolidations, Financial Planning and Analysis

• Experience with SAP technology, e.g. SAP BW, BPC, ECC

• Experience working with leading data integration technologies, e.g. Informatica, Data Stage

• Experience designing relational database architecture and solutions

• Experience designing logical and physical data models

• Comfortable working with complex data structures
