Job Title : Sr. SQL Programmer

Required Skills : SQL 2005 or 2008, Stored Procedures Adhoc reports, Understanding of RMS format of insurance data or underwriting knowledge Experience with C#

The manager is looking for a Sr. SQL programmer on 2005 or 2008, fluent in Stored Procedures, Adhoc SQL’s(basic to complex) and Generate adhoc Reports by writing new or modifying the existing stored procedures. Basic understanding of RMS format of the insurance data is necessary; if not basic underwriting Knowledge is mandatory. Experience with C#.

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Develops system requirements and detailed program specifications from which programmers prepare flowcharts, programs, and tests. Closely coordinates with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications. In conjunction with functional users, develops system solutions. Provides advisory, planning, design, architecture, and technology implementation/integration services to customers to drive tangible business benefit. Develops and prepares computer systems requirements and develops procedures to process data.

Graduate degree preferred : • Configuration experience to include one or more of the Modeling tools for CAT exposure. • Experience in development of project documentation, testing materials and execution, training materials, requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements and adhering to a project management methodology is a must • Experience must span an IT implementation and/or upgrade project • Understanding of Property underwriting a plus • CAT Modeling knowledge strongly preferred

• Strong SQL server, Excel Macro, .NET (C#) programing skills. Above average web development skills (HTML, XML, etc)
