Job Title : Ab Initio Developer/Architect

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ

Duration: long-term

12-15+ years of data warehousing experience

8 years of Ab Initio

5+ years in a Senior or Architect role

Insurance or finance background

Oracle SQL, PL/SQL

Knowledge of UNIX

Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for an Ab initio Senior Developer/ Architect who would like to work in a Large Enterprise Data Warehouse Group. As a member of the Team, this person would have the opportunity to work and collaborate with other individuals working on new and exciting projects. This position requires interaction with development team, users, business analysts and project managers. Please note that we are NOT looking for a junior/mid level Ab Initio developer.

Required Skills:

The candidate must have data warehousing background; preferably in an insurance or financial industry. This person must be able to function independently throughout the lifecycle of a project and must be flexible to adapt as the projects evolve. Experience in setting up mid-to-large data warehouses, best practices and framework a must.

Technical skills and Responsibilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

Highly Proficient in the Ab Initio

High proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with strong relational database concepts

Knowledge of UNIX Operating system

Experience in enhancing functionality in large Data warehousing and Reporting Systems

Support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing and deployment

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with production support experience.

Professional, energetic and self-motivated with a well defined work ethic

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree with 12-15+ years of data warehousing experience working on large projects with at least 8 years of Ab initio experience. 5+ years in Architect/Senior developer role
