The Internet Developer - Media will be responsible for working with the leadership team to define and develop multimedia applications on the Internet including Video, Radio, Mobile Apps and TV applications. The ideal candidate has a solid background in Internet Development, web multimedia technologies and a finger on the pulse of mobile industry trends, the evolution of TV application development and an entrepreneurial get-it-done attitude.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Strong development experience with an emphasis on Object Oriented technologies applied to Internet facing applications.
Strong knowledge of web based multimedia technologies including Flash, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS with regard to web based multimedia
applications.
Knowledge of streaming protocols, live video delivery, and mobile content delivery.
Strong knowledge of development technologies including Microsoft .Net framework, Microsoft C#, Microsoft SQL Server, PHP, MySQL and
demonstrated expertise in using both/either C#/MS SQL or PHP/MySQL.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for development and testing of Internet applications.
Ability to work in enterprise environment considering infrastructure, engineering, support, and data administration requirements.
Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies and object-oriented environments.
Strong understanding of well-known software development and Internet security methodologies, best practices and design principles.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with team members and other departments as required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
