We have a requirement with our direct client for a Senior Business Analyst. Must have at least 8 years of experience

Position: Senior Business Analyst

Duration 5 months

Location: St Paul, Minnesota

 

Required Experience:

 

•At least 8 years experience as a Business Analyst

•4 years of professional level experience in the following areas: utilizing a Unified Process such as the Rational Unified Process (RUP), Object-Oriented Analysis utilizing the Unified Modeling Language (UML) (Use case, state diagram, class diagram, activity diagram, etc.), Data Modeling utilizing Entity Relationship Diagrams, requirement definition and management, capturing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements,

•2 years of experience demonstrating the ability to take an enterprise-wide view of the business and appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance

•2 years of experience demonstrating the ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies

•2 years of experience applying architectural principles to business solutions

•2 years of experience assimilating and correlating disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulating their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues

•4 years experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business

•2 years of experience creating both conceptual and logical business architecture models (e.g. capability maps, business process models)

•2 years of experience documenting clear, concise, and testable requirements

•4 years of experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives

•Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations

•2 years of experience acting as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery

•Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus

•Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Human relations ability sufficient to influence, persuade and work collaboratively with internal and external partners with differing interests.

Preferred Experience

•Experience working for a criminal justice agency

•Experience working in criminal history domains
