QA Tester

QA Tester

Location: Brooklyn, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: $35/hr. on C2C

 

Required Skills/Experience 

 

The typical candidate should have experience testing Internet, intranet, and client-server applications. The experience should also include developing test plans and interpreting system requirements documents in order to perform effective end-user testing and determining adherence to scope. The candidate must have the ability to learn overall system processes and identify process-related issues. Should have experience with UML, (Client currently uses Visio to diagram UML), Visio, Word, Excel and Power Point.

 

Additional Skills 

 

The candidate MUST be familiar with exploratory testing concepts and testing methodologies. Knowledge of Rational Quality Manager or other test management tools such as HP Quality Center is a plus. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) is preferred. The candidate must possess strong communication and analytical skills. Knowledge of the Logica ARM solution a plus.
