iPhone developer

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 6-12 months and could go longer

He is wanting to identify the right candidates and have them ready to start 1-2 weeks out from initial interview. Could be sooner!!!

These roles are 6-12 months and could go longer, due to the client closing several more projects and in the process of closing several more in the near future.

The process will involve a phone interview, which will be a technical call with a technical Architect

Client will move on candidates who have been through at least 1 full life cycle iOS development project.

There are 2 positions waiting to be filled. Manager has committed to responding to submittals the same day or at latest 24 hours from submittal and request interviews quickly.

Must have at least 1 full life cycle development application, where they where there from start to finish

Job Description

· iOS

· 4+ years of software design and development experience

· Firm understanding of building mobile applications that utilize web-services (either HTTP based, XML, SOAP, JSON or other services), in order to tie our applications to critical server-side APIs

· Desired

· C/C++

· Experience in R&D

· Expertise of advanced software engineering concepts, most importantly object oriented design

· Knowledge of a scripting language a plus (Ruby, Perl, Python, BASH, etc

· Should be familiar with version control ( SVN, CVS or Git)

Experience building iPhone (iOS) applications—a strong preference is reserved for applicants who have contributed to Applications that have been available to the public
Experience with the distribution of iOS applications is a plus
Expertise of advanced software engineering concepts, most importantly object oriented design.
Ability to contribute to or lead a cross-functional team (including QA, Product Management, Marketing, etc).
Demonstrated dedication for creating well-designed interfaces, or a desire to continuously improve design and interfaces for new products and existing products to adhere to more sensible Human-Computer-Interaction principles.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
