RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enhance and maintain enterprise web architecture which is based on Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
• Develop and maintain small to medium application solutions and web sites for internal customers across many different functional areas. Deliver solutions through custom programming or packaged solutions, as appropriate.
• Analyze business processes, design system solutions, make recommendations and develop applications to support the business objectives. Perform unit and system testing.
• Provide web user interface and graphics design expertise to the team to ensure that a positive overall user experience is maintained. Create SharePoint templates, mockups, and wire frames.
• Manage application feature scope while delivering excellent customer support and communications. May work with a project manager on some projects; may act as own project manager on others.
• Architect and deploy SharePoint-based and other application solutions to address security, operational, performance, integration, and maintainability considerations. Produce comprehensive documentation for assigned functions.
• Contribute to the maturity of the system development and support methodology.
• Participate in the development and implementation of development standards.
• Develop a strong working relationship with member of the team and staff throughout IT Services.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong Microsoft.NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET, etc.) experience – minimum of 7 years
• Strong knowledge of object oriented programming techniques.
• Minimum of 7 or more years professional IT experience developing and maintaining websites and applications.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, html, xml, css, and other web development technologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of modern web methodologies, browsers and social media.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in:
o Visual Studio .NET
o C# .NET
o JavaScript
o HTML
o SQL Server and stored procedures
o Systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering, functional design, and technical design.
• Working knowledge of modern web browser technology, features, and functionality
• Proven experience with unit and systems testing
• Proficiency with PC based productivity tools, including Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems for servers and workstations
• Demonstrated initiative, follow-up and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction, independently and as part of a team
• Proven experience with unit and system level testing
• Experience in a team development environment using Microsoft Team Foundation Server
Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• 2 years SharePoint 2007 or 2010 development experience
• Experience with jquery and powershell
• Experience with graphic design
• Search engine optimization experience
• SharePoint FAST Search experience
• 2 years' experience with Microsoft's "SharePoint" platform
• Minimum 2 years' experience with:
o Visual Basic and/or C-#
o XML
o Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
o Microsoft Access database
o Search engine concepts
o HTML authoring tools (such as Dream Weaver)
o Graphics design tools (such as Adobe Photoshop)
o Website design, including look and feel, visual/graphics design, layout, navigation, usability analysis, conceptual models, process flows, mockups, standards development, design reviews
• Working knowledge Medicine technical environment
