Mid-Level- Sr. PHP Developer.

Pay Rate: $40-$50 C2C ( If you have a resource $1-$2 more please send for review)

Location: Downtown, Houston

Duration 6-12 month contract.

Will hire from phone if candidate is out of town

Good communication is a must!!!

Note this is a (Linux) Back End PHP Developer role.

They candidates that will get hired will be the ones with C# or VB.Net experience

• Experience in object oriented PHP 5 a must.

New development 60-70% rest support for their Web CMS.

Reengineering & optimizing

They would like to see someone with C# or VB experience they do not just want a front end PHP person.

• Conduct technical analysis, design solutions, schedule estimates, develop solutions, test new and existing code, deploy and maintain code base to meet changing business objectives

• Develop applications (Web and Client) in a variety technologies but focusing on PHP, JavaScript.

• Design, implement and maintain automated unit tests and contribute to regression testing.

• Document existing system and provide technical support.

• Enhance software development procedures and introduce best practices to team members.

• Proactively research web and industry trends.

• Present and apply new technologies to enrich the business.

• Write back end Linux based batch processes or daemons in either PHP or PERL.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study.

• Resourceful in solving technical problems

• High degree of interest and capacity to learn new technologies and environments

• At least 5 years PHP development experience working in all aspects of a LAMP environment.

• Experience in creating PHPUnit tests

• Proven development experience across multiple languages (Java, .NET, etc)

• Experience in SOA

At least 5 years experience in some or all of the following:

• Enterprise PHP development experience.

• Knowledge of SOLR search engine a plus.

• Strong Linux experience from shell scripting to performance analysis and startup scripts a plus.

• Ability to pass LAMP competency testing during interview.

Will be given priority:

• Experience in Agile Development.

• Experience developing content management systems.

• Experience in Unit Testing.

• Nstein Web Content Management System experience.
