.NET Lead/Developer
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $55/hr
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for analysis/installation/configuration of customer facing web applications (test and production) and third level production support of failures.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Develop strong working relationships with business and technology stakeholders
• Work within teams to deliver new functionality to online customers
• Work within an SDLC framework, assessing requirements to facilitate architecture, design, and build of sound solutions
• Assess RFP responses for architectural, technical, and business fit
• Install, configure, and document applications in test and production environments
• Assist in defect analysis during testing
• Assess and anticipate problems and propose sound solutions for improving operations
• Drive triage, root cause analysis, and remediation activities for production incidents
Requirements:
• Fortune 500 experience in requirements, design, and delivery of distributed IT solutions
• Extensive experience in customer facing, high volume, 24X7 application operations
• Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills in multi-tiered horizontally scaled environments
• Extensive knowledge in the following areas: Windows 2003/2008, Windows 2003 domains, IIS, SQL 2005, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP.
• Strong working knowledge of Internet system design, windows clustering, network load balancing, firewalls, DMZ, server hardware, virtualization, SAN, web, general network infrastructure, and service oriented architectures
• Working knowledge of OS hardening and IT security best practices
• Experience deploying and configuring applications written in: ASP, ASP.Net, and C#
• Experience working within a Release Management process
• Experience within an environment with demanding project and operational tempo
• Excellent documentation skills regarding technical designs, procedures, and workflow
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts
• Displays professionalism in all aspects of position, including personal schedule
• Provides off-hours production and project support as needed
• 8+ yrs of contiguous, recent, and related IT experience required
• Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) experience preferred
• Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience preferred
• Bachelor' s degree preferred
• MCSE I or MCITP preferred
