Urgent Need for Windows Engineer---Immediate Hire!!!

Location Providence, RI

Duration 3 Months+

Rate $45-48/hr

Description

Responsible for executing day-to-day support activities to ensure service level agreements, project deliverables and customer commitments are being met.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in an IT-related discipline - preferred.

5+ years of management experience of Windows operational support activities. 

MCSE certification - preferred. 

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency with network protocols and infrastructure concepts. Proficiency with network file server hardware (IBM) and Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 2000, 2003, 2008).

• Working knowledge of VBScript, WMI, ADSI, and database scripting

• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.

• Working knowledge of VB.Net, ASP.Net, and database programming primarily geared towards web based applications.

• Working knowledge of Access databases, SQL Server 2005 databases.

• Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.

• Experience writing scripts and batch files to be used for deployment purposes such as SMS 2003 jobs.

• Experience automating repetitive processes such as disk cleanups and other issue remediation. 

• Excel macros.

• Access macros.

• SharePoint scripting and programming.
