The job description is as below.

Duration: - 1 + year contract

Project Manager (PM)

• Executes all tasks as a part of a project team with up to 12 FTEs, or $500,000 to $1,000,000 expenditure, or equivalent smaller sized projects.
• Familiarity with RUP and SDLC methodology
• Applies appropriate methodology tools and templates for completing assigned project
• Maintains project work plans and drafts required deliverables
• Develops and sustains relationship with business partners
• Manages risk to the business
• Manages changes to scope of the project
• Understands and consistently manages the customer expectations within the scope of the project role
• Provides input to performance appraisal on the project activities for participating team players.
•  Manages development and processing of Funding Documentation for project approval/funding, Prepares RFPs.
• Manages the project expenditures (capital budget).
• Provides direction and guidance to other project team players across multiple teams as appropriate.
• 5 to 7 years of experience as a Project Manager with a strong background in team development. 
• Practical experience with managing Information Technology projects.
• Strong leadership capabilities, strong judgment, and the ability to work effectively with and influence clients, team members, management and external groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the business/client environment, systems, connectivity and application technology.
• Strong general business acumen.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Clarity, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio software programs.
