SAP BASIS
LOCATION	RALEIGH, NC
DURATION	12 MONTHS

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

·         This position will provide SAP Basis/Netweaver technical support for the SAP environment. This environment services over 5,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, and PI.

 

·         SAP Basis/Netweaver support and administration includes but is not limited to:

-optimizing performance of SAP

-maintaining system integrity, component integration, and

-overall system response

 

·         Additional responsibilities include administering SAP's correction and transport system, developing procedures to ensure a stable environment, applying support stacks and SAP notes, and performing system backup/restore and disaster recovery operations

 

·         Candidates need to have solid communication skills and will be responsible for mentoring and providing knowledge transfer to other SAP team members.

 

 

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·         10 or more years of SAP Basis experience;

·         4 or more years of experience in Netweaver/ERP including ECC, BI, BI/Java, Business Objects, EP, PI, and CRM;

·         Experience with SAP role based security. Experience with Oracle database administration;

·         4 or more years of experience managing hosting providers and project/sustain teams;

·         Proven ability to manage technical teams of consultants and state employees;

·         Experience with Solution Manager ChaRM functionality and utilizing Solution Manager for support stack and SAP note application;

·         Configuring and using Solution Manager as the central services system for technical support;

·         Experience with central monitoring using SAP tools;

·         Experience in developing SAP technical architecture for large 5000+ end-user SAP environment;

·         Experience with network technologies and topography including firewalls and reverse proxies. Proven experience in DR/HA planning for SAP

 

Preferred:

·         Experience in development of RASIC matrices involving above and below the line SAP technical implementation and sustain support;

·         Public Sector experience
