Position:            Java Stack developer

Location:           Boston, MA

Duration:             6+ Months

                   Rate:                    Market

In Person required after the telephonic round.

 

Looking for a  Candidate with strong web application development skills.  Use an Agile approach to software development with a strong emphasis on Test Driven Development and Pair Programming.  Have in-depth experience developing scalable, web-oriented software systems with technologies/approaches such as JavaEE, IoC, web frameworks, and persistence frameworks.

 

Technology Stack:

 

• Java
• MongoDB
• MySQL
• Tomcat
• DOM4J
• RESTful Service development using JSON
• JDO
• XML/XPath/XQuery

 

 

 Required Skills:

 

• Test Driven Development (TDD) with Java
• Working knowledge of Mocking
• strong experience with the developing production, and multi-tier JavaEE software systems
• Designing and implementing clean, robust, scalable and highly available software systems
• Web 2.0/3.0 software interface/API paradigms and frameworks (e.g. RESTful Web Services, JSON, Atom, XML/XPath/XQuery)

 

Preferred Skills:

 

• Experience in an Agile Development Environment
• Pair Programming
• Experience with eXtreme Programming and SCRUM

• Aspect Oriented Programming using AspectJ
• JDO with DataNucleus
