Mainframe Programmer Analyst

Location: Kansas City, KS

Duration: 6+ Months

 

• Ability to facilitate a group to come to a consensus.
• Strong project leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to create and maintain the project work plans in coordination with the Project Manager
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn new business and technical processes
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with the business and IT community. 
• Presentation skills both in delivering presentations and in creating presentations using Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, etc.
• Strong ability to create accurate estimates for the work to be completed. 
• A strong ability with a background that demonstrates the ability to create, update and accurately monitor work plans based on estimates, timelines and completion rates.
• Ability to build and maintain a strong and cooperative team cohesiveness between contractors and SRS staff.

 

Technical: Strong background with experience and high level of skill in design, coding, testing skills and implementation skills utilizing the following technologies:
ADABAS, CICS, COBOL, MVS JCL, NATURAL
Knowledge and ability to utilize the current version of the following products:
MS Word
Excel
Visio
Microsoft Project
SharePoint
IBM ClearQuest (SRS defect tracking tool)
