Senior Java Consultant with Linux, JSF, Wily, JBOSS etc

Senior Java Consultant

Location: Chevy Chase, MD

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: market

 

 

Required Skills:

-Must Have: Linux, JSF, Wily – must have, JBOSS.

 - Experience with an APM(Application performance Management) tool like Wily is required.

- Ability to review current usage of the existing application infrastructure and provide feedback for any additional growth.

- Proven development experience in a large scale J2EE-based system.

- Experience and knowledge of JSF, JSF lifecycle, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JavaScript, Ajax and Web Services is required.

- Familiarity with the J2EE container internals and specifications. Familiar with JBOSS, Oracle-Weblogic, Tomcat, Glassfish is highly desirable.

 - Familiarity Maven and Perforce is desirable.

- Familiarity with Oracle and Linux is desirable.

- Proven experience in providing production support for mission critical applications.

- Experienced in managing cross-functional projects that span multiple teams and departments.

- Ability to collaborate and work closely with the development teams to improve, develop, recommend and/or refine existing methodologies and frameworks that ultimately enables the development team to be more productive

- Have proven experience in providing production support for mission critical applications.

- The position includes triaging/tracking issues, providing solutions to resolve defects and production support activities
