Job Title : ETL Consultant ( 8 + Yrs)

Duration : 6 + Months

Location : NYC/NY

 

 

 

Job Requirement:

 

·         5+ years of experience in working with Informatica 8x/9x to extract, transform and load flat files into an oracle data warehouse.

·         Hands-on experience in designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts for large financial institutions.

·         Work with business and technology teams to gather/analyze requirements, estimate, plan, design, develop and test solutions.

·         Develop complex workflows and mappings using Informatica ETL , Oracle PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripts to satisfy the business requirements.

·         Experience in interacting with Business users, Business System Analysts, IT leads and developers in analyzing business requirements and translating requirements into functional and technical design specifications. Debug and troubleshoot issues within a quick turnaround time.

·         Create/understand/modify PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, packages and extensive experience in developing UNIX shell scripts.

·         Experience in creating, modifying and scheduling jobs using Tiwoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) or any other scheduler.

·         Experience working with large data sets and performance tuning in Informatica and optimizing and tuning SQL queries.

·         Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and relational databases.

·         Ability to work effectively under aggressive deadlines and challenging /ad-hoc environments.

·         Strong communication skills, including the ability to represent the team in meetings with business analysts/ end users."
