Requirement:

Position: QA with Fixed income

Duration: (3-6 months contract) – EAD, GC, Citizen

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Description:

Create test cases and construct comprehensive regression suites from the analysis of complex business requirements. Perform complex initial business functional testing, regression testing, and test data conditioning for numerous applications including Microsoft .Net windows and Wed-based applications. Log, track, verify, and retest solution of software and specification defects. Guide developers on defects. Provide instruction and directions to less experience analysts and automation QA. Consult with users and provide advices. Serve as a coordinator for all testing activities. Lead and review test cases developed by others.

Address time sensitive demands on a continuous basis. Require off-hours support sometimes for release validation and meeting deadlines. Collaborate with QAs, BAs, Developers, and business contacts to understand and enhance regression. Document all phases of the QA process.

Basic Qualification:

5+ years IT quality assurance and systems/applications testing experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Be able to independently create and execute complex business functional and regression QA testing on windows and web-based applications

Bachelor degree in Business, finance, or a related discipline.

Working knowledge of fixed income asset classes
Working knowledge of Mercury Quality Center V10 and SQL.

Strong analytical skills and sound judgment.

Excellent communication skills and judgment, ability to manage multiple tasks, and work towards a deadline in a fast paced and aggressive development schedule.
