MS Access Consultant

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Microsoft Access Consultant

The La Senza business is migrating to the same technology platform (SRP) as VS and BBW businesses. The MP&A organization will adopt the suite of systems (Manugistics, Enterprise Planning, Intactix, etc) as the US businesses. To augment these systems, the other brands use a set of customized MS-Access tools, and similar tools will need to be developed for the La Senza business. This position will work with the business to develop these tools. Key functionality required is:
• Reporting, drawing from multiple systems to include EDW and Manugistics
• Push tool to rapidly deploy inventory
Application / Modules:
• MS-Access (Reporting, Buy Path C support / Push Tool)

Responsibilities:
• Work with La Senza MP&A to develop requirements for system tools
• Learn from VSS MP&A to understand the MS-Access tools utilized by VSS
• Develop MS-Access tools that fulfill La Senza requirements
• Integrate testing of developers with MGT’s testing schedule
Skill Level / Experience Required
Required experience/skill set:
• MS-Access development skills including:
o Ability to program in VBA
o Ability to create access forms, queries and reports.
• MS Excel – highly proficient
• Ability to clearly document data needs from other systems
• Ability to document design and functionality
• An understanding of project management principles
• Client-focused

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Limited Brands SRP MP&A systems
