Title: Embedded Software Applications Engineer ( 5 + Yrs exp)

Location: Boston MA

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

The Embedded Software Applications engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining customized audio amplifier software for specific vehicles. The programs will involve a variety of technologies, including high-speed fiber optic networking protocols, CAN communications, Real-time Operating Systems and built-in diagnostics. The software is targeted for 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.

Requirements

• BS/MS Computer Engineering or BS/MS Electrical Engineering with Software focus

• 4+ years of experience developing real-time embedded software

• C and assembly language experience and familiarity with scripting languages

• Strong software development skills and knowledge/experience in software engineering best practices (i.e. modularity, extensibility, reusability and maintainability)

• Ability to work effectively with other team members including embedded application development, system and quality engineers

• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills

• Automotive industry experience
