Need EXPERT Cloud Computing Consultant/ SME @ WA

 

EXPERT LEVEL CLOUD COMPUTING CONSULTANT/ SME
LOCATION	OLYMPIA, WA
DURATION	9 Months with possible extension of another 1 year
SPECIAL NOTES:  The proposed candidate need to provide 3 references related to Cloud computing work performed
Required Skills:   Expertise in creating technical proposals through engagement with the customer, both technical and business related. ·         Expert working knowledge in Cloud Computing and current best practices in the industry. ·         Understanding of constraints and issues associated with Cloud Computing. ·         Experience with cloud management tools and concepts. ·         Understand WA state IT Security Policy 141 and IT Security Standards 141.10 faster. ·         Experience managing systems/applications in a cloud environment. ·         Cloud Computing Certifications such as Certified Cloud Professional, Certified Cloud Architect, Certified Cloud Security Specialist, or any manufacturer-specific cloud product certification. ·         Experience working with Government agencies. ·         Experience managing systems/applications in a cloud environment. ·         Other relevant experience that indicates the qualifications of the Consultant related to Cloud Computing.   REQUIREMENT The propose SME in Cloud Computing must provide comprehensive description of services that will be provided by him to assist the Department in meeting the objectives as stated above, and should explain with an Attachment to Resume how he/she would define and document business and technology requirements including, but not limited to, the following elements:   ·         Network | Data Security [physical and protocols] ·         User Access Control and Management [Secure] ·         User Authentication Method [AD preferred] ·         User Connectivity Requirements [SmartPhone, Tablet, PC] ·         Audit Methods ·         Security | Compliance Reporting ·         Application Availability Requirements ·         Dynamic Allocation of Cloud Resources [Proc,Mem,Network, and Storage] ·         Disaster Recovery | Mirrored Data Requirements ·         Uptime Requirements and Metrics ·         Encryption Requirements ·         Appropriate Service | Deployment Models ·         Hacking Insurance ·         Ability to Manage Variable Levels of Security [by Application] ·         Backup and Recovery  ·         Cloud vs. Local Virtual Space ·         Cloud Vendor Network Architecture [single|multiple sites, U.S. only, non-International] ·         Access Redundancy [if primary connection unavailable] ·         Mitigation Strategies [addressing increased potential for unauthorized access to the Department's data] ·         Administration roles and responsibilities
