Skill Set: Business Analyst - Senior
Engagement Description: The Sr. Business Analyst will assist the work for Assister certification in the following activities.
1. Lead business functional analysis and assist subject matter experts in the development of business requirements and navigational work flows.
2. Develop use cases (as needed) and functional specifications and coordinate the capture of process flow models and ensure overarching business architecture is integrated across all system functions.
3. Primary contact for all related business requirements related to Health Plan Benefits and Assister (Navigator/ Broker) Certification and Display functionality.
4. Assisting the Business Owner, Business PM, HIX Technology Leadership in identifying data dependencies, issue management and risk mitigation analysis.
5. Primary contact with Business Owner for meeting milestone deliverables; and
6. Ensure all changes meet state and federal standards
Successful candidate must have:
1. Demonstrated ability to solve complex business and data design issues fr0m an enterprise perspective.
2. Industry knowledge and understanding of business analysis and requirements development and execution utilizing processes such as use cases and BPM (Business Process Modeling).
3. Proven ability to be able to abstract and provide concise business summaries of detailed analysis work products.
4. Proven relationship management skills and ability to rapidly establish and leverage key working relationships with customers, vendors and companion/partnering organizations.
5. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Process flows, Screen and Interface designs).
6. Strong analytic, documentation, presentation and facilitation skills.
7. Demonstrated knowledge in: Information display of complicated insurance information in a user friendly approach (QHPs (quality health plans), Medicaid and other state health care program plan and facilitate User-Friendly comparison between QHPs) Creation of calculators to enable Users the ability to estimate total out of pocket costs based on QHP structure, user demographic characteristics and health status User access to qualified Navigator / Brokers and access by Navigator/ broker access to the MNHIX Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in an Agile development environment.
