Requirement:

Title: Senior Reporting Analyst/Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Position Description:

This position will provide various reporting for the Customer Home Loans (retail mortgage) group within the Global Banking Technology (GBT) department.

  • Global manager leading a centralized reporting team for sourcing business intelligence
  • Design/develop/deploy sophisticated reporting solutions to enable meaningful performance analysis across all levels of Mortgage. 
  • Lead ad hoc report creation using Business Objects, SQL, Access, Excel, and other platforms that are available.
  • Ensure accuracy of reports
  • Recommend improvements to reports or reporting methods to assist in the management of established key metrics
  • Create and maintain process documentation for all reporting processes and procedures
  • Face-off with IT partners to document functional specifications for future technological enhancements of core reports and reporting systems
  • Lead quality assurance and user-acceptance testing as needed to ensure successful deployment of new/enhanced reports and system developments

 

Skills Required

  • Proficient in Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports
  • Experience in building Business Objects universes
  • Experience in building entitlements around reports/reporting environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Extensive database experience, preferably Teradata, Sybase, and/or Oracle
  • Advanced technical skills that will enable data-mining, joins, correlations, general statistical analysis and presentation
  • Proven ability to increase efficiency through automation while maintaining data integrity
  • Working knowledge of the project lifestyle including user acceptance testing

 

Skills Desired

  • Strong skills in Excel VLookups, Pivots, PowerPoint, SharePoint a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional conflict management skills
  • Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment, handling a wide variety of tasks
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and succeed in a team atmosphere
