TITLE: Sr. Mechanical Verification Engineer
LOCATION: Batesville, IN (40 miles west of Cincinnati OH)
DURATION: 6+ months

DESCRIPTION:

Domain: Class II and Class 1 medical devices

Skill sets:

1. Medical device product development process

2. Product verification technologies experience ( GD&T, FEA, Kinematic analysis)

Eg.,

Able to think through and articulate a pratical verification process for the following type of design requirement involving one or more than one of the above

Mentioned techniques, thus minimizing physical sample testing.

“When Advanced Articulation is present , the head section pivot shall move towards the head of the bed when the head section is raised, creating a total displacement of 14.5 ± 0.5 cm (5.7 ± 0.2 in) when the head is flat to completely raised.”

3. Proved experience and Ability to relate

a. FMEA document to Risk Matrix, Risk management report and Risk management prioritization

b. DRS/FRS documents with company’s QMS system of records.

4. Ability to work with a client and offshore based execution team for explicit understanding and communication of requirements.

5. Desirable experience: relate the verification protocol rationale back to statistical signifance needs ( 95% AQL, 90% confidence levels per sampling plan).
