Requirement:

Position: Sr. Oracle Developer (Supply Chain) **MUST BE GREEN CARD HOLDER OR
CITIZEN**

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Location: Oak brook, IL



Must Have:

- 8+ years development experience, 5 years of development/design in
Oracle E business suite

- Project based experience

- Business process/requirements analysis experience; ability to set
up and configure modules, do documentation, and do spec
customizations/reports

- Complete understanding of Oracle E-business suite technical
architecture and underlying table structures - ability to design and develop
program units

- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow,
Oracle Forms, XML Publisher (reporting tool)

- Oracle E-Business Suite release 11i and higher

- Experience with Oracle Supply Chain planning modules including
ASCP, Inventory Optimization, Global Order Promising, Manufacturing and
inventory; familiarity with EDGE applications like Demantra.

- Excellent Communication



Plusses:

- Experience with Production Scheduling module

- Full life cycle implementation experience

- Manufacturing experience



Day to Day:

This candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements
into solutions, preparing technical specifications, coding, testing,
debugging and documenting software programs of varying complexity following
the predefined standards and best practices. The Oracle Applications
Technical Analyst works in collaboration with Business Analysts, Oracle
DBAs, System Administrators, etc. on all technical aspects of the Oracle
E-Business suite modules and is capable of designing and developing programs
and procedures around Oracle Applications. The individual should have
experience in analyzing complex system requirements, critical business
processes and information systems.



Responsibilities include:

- Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement
process, maintaining documentation for all projects.

- Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specification

- Review technical solutions

- Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality
solutions

- Oversee the development team on a project when 3rd parties are involved in
delivery

- Interface with Business Analysts and other the Business Engagement Teams
during the design, development and testing processes

- Review, repair, enhance and develop code, provide production support as
and when required, including afterhours support

- Propose, establish and enforce standards, policies and procedures for team
development and architecture

- Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods and
technologies

- Offer support to other team members, with the ability to mentor others
