We are currently looking for a Contract Developer with strong Python skills to work with us on a 6 month basis.

Location: St.Petersburgh, FL

We are in need of a Sr. Python Developer for 6 months to develop a highly sophisticated web application on Heroku.  Heavy backend development using Postgres, Oracle, and Netezza databases.  Opportunity to work with big data and cloud architecture.  Prefer someone who has at least 3-5 years of Python and database experience. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years related experience with Python (scripting languages, such as bash and awk are a plus)
• Experience writing applications in Python (using web frameworks such as Tornado and Bottle)
• Knowledge of Linux and UNIX
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
• Experience using PostgreSQL

 

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
