Position: Data Modeler
Location: Wilmington, DE
Contract Length: 6 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with the Data Analytics Center of Excellence ( DACOE) and Integrated Data Warehouse teams to develop, enhance and maintain its data structures
Working closely with business stakeholders, as well as potential users of the DACOE systems and databases
Participate in the analysis and design of system solutions to meet business and technology needs
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models using ERwin
Develop and maintain metadata ,data dictionaries, data mappings, data validations, etc
Ensure data quality, data understanding within supported areas
Basic Qualifications:
5 - 8 years demonstrated expertise in logical and physical data modeling
5 - 8 years of experience in developing data-marts, operational, dimensional and analytical models
5 - 8 years demonstrated proficiency using Data Modeling tools: ERwin
5 - 8 years working experience of large scale data warehouse environment
5 - 8 years experience working in a Mainframe and Unix environments
5 - 8 years experience on a Teradata or Oracle infrastructure
2 - 4 years of experience with BI tools such as Business Objects, COGNOS, Tableau and Microstrategy a plus
2 - 4 years of working experience in ANSI standard SQL and data mining a must.
2 - 4 years of experience with Agile, change management procedures and SDLC is a must.
2 - 4 years of demonstrated ability to investigate and learn new technologies and products is preferred.
