Position : 1

Business Analyst - Market Risk

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: Long Term

Required Skills:

· Need solid Market Risk BA with Basel

· Understanding of data, good usage of SQL for data Analysis and mining

· Understanding of VaR (Value at Risk) models

Position: 2

Title : Business Analyst - Fixed Income

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: Long Term

Required Skills:

· Seasoned Experience as a Business Analyst (need at least 10-12 years)

· Good Fixed income background

· Good cash equities background

· Excellent communication skills, documentation skills

Position: 3

Senior BA with Trade Surveillance or trading activity knowledge

Location: New York City, NY

Duration: Long Term

Required Skills:

· Strong Data Analytics (SQL Skills) (This doesn’t mean the person becomes a data analyst. A Data analyst does a lot beyond this; He or she builds data models etc.

· Strong BA skills (Documentation/ Requirement gathering)

· Strong Product Knowledge – (FI/FX)

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with clients to define the scope and business requirements

· Build clients relationships and manage expectations

· Create prototypes for business valuation and feedback

· Write detailed functional requirements and use cases

· Partner with data providers to ensure model requirements are met

· Support development team in creating detailed technical specifications

· Manage the QA team with test case writing, planning and execution

· Perform independent validation with a client centric focus

· Conduct UAT, training sessions and user demos

· Support ongoing user requirements and investigate issues

Skills & experience

The candidate should be capable of understanding and solving highly complex problems, have excellent communication skills and have financial services experience, preferably in the areas of investment banking and trading.

· Excellent written and communication skills

· Experience following the SDLC (Waterfall, Agile)

· Financial industry knowledge, preferably in Sales & Trading or Investment Banking

· Knowledge of trades data, positions data, reference data.

· Strong data analytical skills (SQL)

· Experience working in medium to large-scale development projects

· Project management experience
