Need Very Senior SQL Developer @ WA. Min 9 Years exp required

We have an immediate requirement with our direct client for a Senior SQL developer.

 

Contract Position: Sr SQL developer

Location: Olympia Washington

Duration: 13 months

Start Date: 5/29/12

 

 

1. Qualifications- Mandatory and Highly Desirable Experience and Qualifications

a. Mandatory Experience and Qualifications for proposed candidates:

· Senior to expert level SQL developer with at least five (5) years of IT experience.

· MSSQL design and development of stored procedures.

· Architecting and describing technical solutions to functional and non-functional system requirements.

· Proven ability to develop formal requirement deliverables utilizing Gap Analysis templates.

· Proven ability to design interfaces and remote upload processes.

· Proven ability to translate requirements into formal test cases, test scripts and run test and collect test evidence.

· Proven ability to work with processes for the review, negotiation, and acceptance of formal project deliverables.

 

2. Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications for proposed candidates:
   • Microsoft Reporting Services.
   • UML.
   • Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience in school and/or district data systems.
   • Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience with other state data systems and/or state data extraction for reporting.
   • Demonstrated strong people skills.
   • Detail-oriented.
   • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
   • MSSQL Administration and Performance Tuning.
