Java UI Developer

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Duration: 6-12 Months

Minimum Requirements:

For UI developer, we're using Sencha/ext-js building out an MVC web app in the presentation layer - pretty cool stuff.

- We're really looking for a strong application developer (see below) who wants to live in the presentation layer and likes making things look amazing and function flawlessly

- You should love RESTful APIs

- You should love JS and demonstrate expertise

For the core skills:

- Java/J2EE

- Web application development

- SpringMVC/SpringSecurity 3

- Mongo (not a lot of people have this, that's OK but that's what we are currently using) and elasticsearch

- That means, no ORM but if they are strong in Hibernate that's good in general

- RESTful services

- Jetty is a plus, but Tomcat works too (we're using Jetty)

- experienced with Cloud-based applications

- Understanding of multi-tenancy - deep experience is a plus

- TDD/Continuous Integration/Maven

- Excellent communication skills - mandatory

- Creative/innovative thinker and problem solver

- Comfortable with ambi guous problems

- Familiarity with Clinical healthcare terminology and concepts is a strong plus, experience working at a major HIT vendor a very strong plus
