Project Manager
Location: Boston , Massachusetts
Duration: 14 months
The Project Manger should possess at least 5-7 years of strong technical knowledge. In addition to the foregoing, the consultant should possess the following skills and/experience;
- 7-10 years of proven IT Project Management Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in facilities management systems implementations, preferably Tririga implementations is preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable
- Superior communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with management, technical staff, and trades persons in the broad gamut of Commonwealth institutions, including higher education, correction facilities, health care facilities, and transportation to name but a few.
- Experience using project management tools and techniques, with familiarity with “Common Way” or similar a decided advantage.
- Knowledge of relational data bases, and ability to manage migration of data from one type of data base to another, and from a legacy facilities management system to a new system.
- Experience with business process analysis and business process re-engineering occasioned by the adoption of automated systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DCAM’s organizational policies and procedures
- Knowledge of DCAM’s end users’
