The candidate must meet the basic qualifications of 8 or more years of generic IT experience as defined for a Technology Consultant. In addition, this position requires a concentration in database design, metadata management, developing and implementing data policy, physical database modifications, directing the work of IT personnel and other duties relating to Data Administration. Each candidate will score between 1 and the maximum possible for each category. Points will be determined from review of the experience section NOT from the "Summary of Skills" area of a resume or application.
· 7 years of experience developing conceptual, logical & physical data models (using data modeling software) including the facilitation of modeling sessions.
· 7 years as administrator of a business and technical metadata management tool, including a Data Dictionary
· 7 years of experience developing and implementing data policy and procedures governing organizational data collection, storage, quality and usage
· 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, planning and/or directing the work of others
· 5 years of experience performing the data processing function of extract-transform-load (ETL) using an automated tool
· 5 years of experience with Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) to build and maintain database objects
