Java Developer

Location : Parsippany, NJ

Type of Hire: Contract

Required Skills:

 

·         10+ Years of total IT experience with minimum of 6+ years experience in designing and developing distributed middle-tier applications/services using Java/J2EE technologies.

·         Extensive working knowledge with OO concepts , EJB ,JDBC, Transaction management (JTA), JMS, Web logic 10.x, Hibernate, Web services, UML, Design Patterns, spring, JSF, css, js, jsp, Web services, Spring JDBC Templates, Hibernate, Maven, Log4J, Eclipse

·         Working knowledge of relational database systems including Oracle. Database knowledge should include mastery of SQL, exposure to database schema design, and understanding differences in application interaction with Oracle.

·         Knowledge of Middleware Integration [TIBCO, MQ] is a plus.

·         Knowledge or hands on experience with Adobe CQ 5.5 is a huge plus.

 

Job Description:

 

·         Responsible for developing SOA based applications and integrating with E-Commerce Web Applications.

·         Performs all or part of the software development life cycle ranging from user analysis, design and development.

·         Provide necessary documentation during different parts of SDLC.

·         Develop and maintain high quality code base while meeting aggressive project schedule

·          Adopt and improve best practices of software development

·         Performs code-reviews and guides onsite/offshore developers.

·         Must be highly organized with excellent analytical, problem solving skills.

·         Must also demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to interface with all levels of business and technical teams.

·         Must also demonstrate ability to readily adapts to new technologies and practices in the work environment.

·         Proactive and should have an ability to work independently.

·         High Volume Transaction System Experience is preferred.
