Oracle/PowerBuilder Developer Needed
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 months
Sr. Oracle Developer- Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Application Development, PowerBuilder
Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products
Write code for system designs that span platforms
Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs
Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points
Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects
Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications
Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach
Job Requirements:
Candidates will be responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications. Candidates will also be responsible to help assist the development team on various projects in Oracle on both Design and Development.
5+ years of Demonstrated programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL. Experience in complex application development in a RDBMS environment.
Strong knowledge in writing Oracle stored procedures, Packages and Functions.
Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications
Demonstrated experience using versioning tools such as PVCS or Clear Case a plus.
Health Care Industry knowledge.
Java experience preferred
