Position: Teradata Admin
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 6+ months
Skills Needed
- Strong Knowledge of Teradata database concepts and Physical database design
- Five years of experience as a Database Administrator (Minimum three years of experience as a Teradata Database Administrator)
- Two or more years experience in a Unix environment
- Experience with databases larger than 10TB
- Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline is a MUST
- VBA/UNIX Shell scripting would be a plus
- Multi RDBMS Administration Experience would be a plus - Database performance tuning / SQL tuning skills preferred
Preferred Certifications: - Teradata Masters certification - Any RDBMS Certifications would be an additional plus
