Requirement:

Position: Information System Engineer / Oracle apps DBA

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Develop, create, and modify Oracle business applications for compatibility with NetApp products. Analyze business needs and develop solutions. Specifically, provide leadership on technical business applications project teams and handle complex project management issues and technical challenges for Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.9), Release 12.1.3, Oracle R12 Application Suite compatibility with NetApp’s Snap mirror and Snapshot technologies. Work on instance strategy, candidate architecture and detailed architecture, as well as with PMO and release management teams and technology delivery. Draw upon experience with NAS and SAN solutions to handle very large database backup and recovery. Provide high availability business solutions for

• Oracle Standby Database,

• Oracle Dataguard,

• Oracle Advanced Replication

• Oracle RAC.

Conduct performance tuning for large enterprise resource planning (ERP), reporting and data warehouse databases. Oracle 10g grid control and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Perform business database and application patching, database capacity planning, and Oracle ASM(Automatic Storage Management) configuration and implementation. Drive best practices, process improvements and strategic initiatives for the Oracle ERP operations team.
