Display Software Engineer
- Description:
- This is a position for a contract software engineer to develop display software for Caterpillar machine applications. The candidate’s duties will include but are not limited to: developing, configuring, and testing display software; designing GUI interfaces; troubleshooting and correcting software issues; and reporting development status. This position involves working closely with display systems engineers, and display software development team.
- Required Qualifications
- BSEE, BSCE, BSCS, or BSME
- Five to ten years of development experience using C & C++ programming languages
- Development experience using Object Oriented Design
- Desire to work in an Agile team environment
- Desired Qualifications
- Development experience using Windows Mobile
- Knowledgeable in Boost
- Three to five years of embedded software experience
- Experience with CAN, J1939 and other data link protocols
- Experience with Platform Builder
- Experience with configuration management tools
