Were seeking talent with 5+ years experience developing database driven web applications with a focus in Microsoft .Net/ASP.Net/VB.Net
The Senior Software Engineer must have a strong object-oriented programming background and be able to implement UI navigation, complex business logic and database access.
The ideal candidate is capable of working independently as well as in small teams and enjoys working with leading edge technology in a fast paced work environment.
Position Responsibilities
Design and develop web-based applications
Support existing web-based applications
Develop database structures and scripts including tables, views, and stored procedures, as well as utilize advanced database services such as data transformation and reporting services.
Provide leadership and recommendations for database optimization and scalability
Investigate and provides solutions to issues reported through customer service channels
Debug and test legacy code as well as new code
Skills & Experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in commercial software development
Mastery of Microsoft Visual Basic .Net and Visual Basic 6
Mastery of Microsoft Active Server Pages .Net
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
Experience with web scripting languages, including JavaScript, VBScript and HTML
Knowledge of middle-tier application development
