Senior Data/Information Architect
Location: Somerset, NJ
Face-to-Face Required
Job Description
• 12-15+ years experience desired
• Provides extensive data analysis and data profiling of source data and related ultimate originating sources.
• Produces written deliverables using Standard Templates and Support Documentation - process mapping, data mapping from source to target, glossaries, Data Dictionary, Detailed technical design, testing and implementation activities
• Collaborates with business and technology departments to understand and document technical solution requirements.
• Writes SQL queries to retrieve data from relational source systems
• Uses ad-hoc queries to investigate data issues in various source systems
• Understands and documents project-specific source access mechanism, detailed data flow and related transformation to specific targets.
• Interfaces and integrates technical knowledge with business / systems requirements
• Facilitates full compliance support for enterprise regulatory policies and procedures ACORD, Data Masking
• Works with Business, Architects, other IT staff to analyze current and potential systems for conversions and product integration scenarios.
• Lead JAD sessions with Systems Analysts and other teams, document results of JAD sessions, obtain approvals.
• Assist with the design of alternative approaches for effective data integration etc.
• Participate in assigned tasks related to Testing and QA.
• Reviews work products from team and vendor consultants
• Requires experience working on very large data-centric projects; moving data from multiple legacy systems into a single repository.
• Knowledge of Informatica, SQL, ETL Tools.
• Any knowledge/exposure to IBM MDM Database a plus..
