Skills Needed

 

• Mandatory Requirement – "Extensive Performance Tuning Experience to optimize results in a project environment working closely with cross functional application teams"

Thorough understanding of Microsoft SQL Server Architecture 
• At least 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and tuning very large (600+ Tables, 1 TB Data) Microsoft SQL Server 2008 databases 
• Planning and Configuring databases for high availability and disaster recovery including clustering, replication and backup/restore processes 
• Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service.

• Knowledge of ORM tools such as nHibernate

• Must be able to fine-tune HQL.

• Good understanding of n-tier architectures. 
• Demonstrates exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong problem solving skills
