Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Location: Dallas\Plano, TX

Duration: 8-9 months

 

Description/ Required Skills:

- Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities.

- Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces.

- Requires a previous domain of experience in applications development.

- Responsible for overall application design, including interfaces with other applications and systems.

- Assures that application designs are consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility).

- 3-5 years experience with Financial Services clients.

- Oversight

- Works substantially with little supervision or oversight to deliver key milestones.

- Related experience

- 2-3 years prior application development experience

- Client Experience Preferred.

- Experience with minimal application integration.

- Have participated in 1-4 Agile projects.

-Communication - Ability to deliver highly technical information to a broader audience beyond the team lead while influencing within the team.

- Exposure to working with third parties and suppliers.

- Suitable candidate will be an application developer an agile team.

- Candidate should have experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

- Must be able to work effectively in small teams and should be a strong individual performer as well.

- Candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Essential:

- Complex large scale application development and integration using JAVA/J2EE, Oracle and open source technologies.

- JAVA/J2EE, AJAX, HTML, JSP – (5 Years)

- PL/SQL with oracle 11g as a backend, SOAP web services.

- Good knowledge of testing framework such as Junit & similar testing methodologies

- Development experience using application server Oracle Weblogic (10.3).

Desired (but not essential):

- MQ/JMS.

- Maven

- Unix shell scripting

- Exposure to test driven development

- JAVA .........5-7 Years.
