Essential Functions
Design and develop business intelligence applications in .NET/C# and/or Java, and SQL Server
Design and develop web front-end using ASP.NET
Develop and improve proprietary operational analytics, financial models and applications
Perform business requirement analysis, project management, support and other duties consistent with this level of responsibility
General Skills & Abilities
Ability to communicate well with the business and conduct requirement analysis
Significant experience with .NET/C# applications and SQL Server
Significant experience with ASP.NET technologies, including strong skills in AJAX
Excellent understanding of Windows enterprise development, e.g., WCF, Messaging systems, ADO.NET and Web Services
Highly skilled in object oriented programming and multi-tier design
Java application development experience or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technologies
Strong Knowledge of XML and related technologies
Well versed in design patterns and UML
Strong knowledge of relational database modeling principles and techniques
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL, stored procedures and SSIS
Experience with NUnit and test driven development
Significant experience with software development life-cycle
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Dedicated to completing assigned tasks under deadline
Ability to mentor team members on task management, as well as technical issues and solutions
Highly motivated to develop mortgage business knowledge
Communication Skills
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication
Ability to communicate with customers, internal departments, and other outside parties in a professional manner
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of professional application development experience
At least 5 years of professional .NET experience, e.g., C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, etc.
At least 3 years of SQL Server or other database systems experience
At least 1 year of experience with XML technologies
Preferred Qualifications
4-year Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields
At least 1 year of software development experience in mortgage or financial services industries preferred
At least 1 year of experience in business intelligence or analytics applications preferred
